School of the Damned is an alternative arts and education platform in the UK. 

SOTD has no tuition fees, is student led and peer supported. We use our collective resources and networks to make the things happen.  We are self-directed, decentralised and care about mutual support and solidarity.   

SOTD was formed in 2014 as a reaction to the increasing financialisation of Higher Education in the UK.  Re-forming on an annual(ish) basis, each cohort defines their own agenda and produces work and events individually and collectively.

Our current cohort came together in October 2024 and we are intending to work together for the next year to 18 months.  We are dotted throughout the UK and are keen to raise funds to support full participation, irrespective of geography or financial disadvantage.

On this website we intend to sell original works and items designed by the SOTD  cohort, to raise funds to support our activities and in particular to facilitate equitable access to in-person learning.
